I would like to introduce "George" the orange velvet bird. It was an idea of my mom's but I brought it to life...She even thought of the name too...George is a little small, but I think I will make a couple more bigger and post them for sale up in my etsy shop...But isn't he just so cute??? I have a day off today, I'm gonna be busy in my studio, makin' more birds, and definately clean house today...yesterday, saw my family, ma, pa, and sis acat, it was good to see them, even for just for half the day. Saw my grandparents too...

The gold thread is so pretty! I have some very nice 100% linen thread I'll send you, it would be cool on rustic style birds. ( got some old homespun that would make some great 'prairie' hens. ;) xxxoooloved our visit. m.
