I'm Still Here!

I have been away from the blogging world, but I did not drop off the face of the earth! Lots of things happened in the past few days! I got another job as an insurance agent's assistant, and today was my actual first day on the job! I have my own desk (right next door to my boss's office) and my boss is actually my husband's uncle...I call him goofy mike cause he is real funny, cracks jokes all the time, and talks a mile a minute! My etsy shop has had a real lucky streak lately! I'm talking about 9 sales in the last 3 days kind of lucky! I am searching for a car, have a couple possible opportunities in mind...Last Sunday, I went to visit my folks and sis...I t was good to be home for 1 whole day, have my sweet nurturing mother cook for me, make me a cozy spot in my old bed to snuggle in, and my mom and I were just having fun looking at fabric shops in the etsy world, and some of my mom's old books on fabric (she let me borrow one). My hubby and I filed our taxes today, we got back less money than we thought, and I know we can't come even close to buying the Chrystler Concorde that I have been eyeing...but luckily, there are a couple of potentials that are definitely in our price range! If we get the cheaper of the 2 cars, we will also get a nice 26 inch flat screen TV...YAY!!!!! Well a bit of bad news though, all of the baby finches died...I am sad about that, but it wasn't meant to be...One of my cats, Sabrina has been sick for a couple of days vomitting and feeling weak, but she is completely healthy again and full of energy! Hope y'all are having a great week, file those taxes while you can! I am glad we got ours done and overwith!

Aww, I'm sorry about the babies. Like I mentioned before, sometimes it takes the parents a few tries to get it right, but it's so sad when the babies die.

Glad you got a new job, and good luck in your vehicle search.

Take care of yourself, Pood. :o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

That's too bad about the babies but better luck next time.

We actually had one of our budgies spayed so we wouldn't have an endless stream of eggs. It worked very well but it's quite costly as it's a specialty vet you'd need.

She lived to a ripe old age!
