Right Through Me
Well, despite today was a fairly decent day to me, hubby fixed my car and my new cell phone was delivered, i strangely feel as if the wind has blown right through me.....I am not sure why I feel this way, I can't explain it. I have absolutely no crafting or creating mojo in me right now, I am so tired, but I have been getting enough sleep lately, my chest pains have subsided, no headaches, or gassiness or digestive problems, but I just feel so drained......of energy and life. I am not even hungry either, I don't even have the energy to eat! Looking at all of these darn pillows in my studio, I feel exhausted just looking at all of them....so much work, and time.
I guess I could go out and knit with some of my friends, but I really don't want to leave the house, it's only 5 degrees out, my car can barely start in this kind of weather. I am not really too crazy on this snow and cold weather. I just wish it was spring time again with those scary thunderstorms and the moist hot thick air. And of course mowing the lawn in the late evening as the sun goes down. In the meantime, I have to look at 2 feet of snow at any given time. I will leave you with this picture of a little black squirrel friend who likes to hang out in my backyard. I named him "Thor".

Sounds like maybe you have a touch of seasonal affective disorder? I hope you are able to kick this feeling soon- it is really hard to stay upbeat in all of the cold and dark. xo
i should invest in one of those bright lamps and sit under it in the mornings.....i heard it helps with the seasonal slumps
Don't fight it! just veg out(Relax in a slothful and mindless manner) lay on the sofa, watch movies, listen to music, cry, laugh, sleep, or scream.Do what ever your mind and body feels like doing. Then you'll find one day you will just sit up, you'll jump in the shower and wash away all that yuk feeling...you will fix your hair and you'll be back to your normal self! Oh don't forget to take some good vitamins to help your nerves, I find a good vitB always helps but ask your health shop!Sometimes we just get stressed out when too many little things build up and get to us!
But if it goes on to long i would go see you're Doc. Many hugs xxx
oh it's nothing serious or anything, i call it one of my "off" days, it's so cold out, 18 inches of snow on the ground, holidays are over, it's just an icky feeling.....i will be fine, no worries! :)
I love new phones! knitting sounds fun although the cold does not :/
xoxo
yep chelsea, the winter in the northern plains packs a huge punch!
Winter blahhs. We (you and I kansans are creatures of the sun) Get a light box. It does help. Like Rusty said, just flow with it...winter is a time for resting and nesting. Bears and other creatures hibernate and we should too! Northern Lights is where I ordered mine 10 yrs ago...from Quebec! The customer service was excellent. LOVE the black squirrel. Where's Thor's hammer? :) He needs to pound on a few neighbors. lol
oh i didn't tell you mom, I found one of those "lamps" you speak of! it's way smaller than yours though, but it puts out a great amount of light like yours did, I found it at bed bath and beyond for 20 bucks too, haha Thor throws nuts and stuff, he doesn't need a hammer, but i leave some old crusty bread for him out back behind my house, he loves it!
