The bird perch was something I meant to do for a long time, but didn't have the cool vintage fabrics to use until now! Plus, I needed use for my last few mushroom bird friends, so I gave them a perch to rest on instead of them living in a glass jar! I have seen this project on a couple of others' blogs recently, so that jump started my inspiration to make myself one to hang in my home! This birdie perch is hanging on my closet door, added my own touch of lace along the bottom! and the embroidering piece is just something I quickly whipped up on an old hanky, That phrase "You are lovely" is something I say to my sweet 2 girl kitties all the time.....that hangs right by my front door....it's the last thing I see whenever I leave and the first thing I see when I return home.....

This is absolutely Beautiful, I have looked everywhere for these mushroom birds but can't seem to buy them here.You are really creative!
